Encoding for PocketPC?

Is it possible to re-encode existing DivX 5.02 content for PocketPC? I'd prefer to use the DivX Player, and I think it only supports up to 4.02.

I know I could use WMP or PocketTV, but again, I'm shooting for DivX/AVI files....
