DVD2AVI VOB Language playback prob.

I've converted the VOB with DVD2AVI no problem and converted it to SVCD with TMPGenc but when I playback the movie, first the titles appear in all the languages then it seems to play each part of the movie several times. Is this because DVD2AVI converts the VOB file and not the IFO file? Did I do something wrong when I ripped the DVD? Was I supposed to use movie instead of files in Smartripper??

Although I don't personally use DVD2AVI, it's apparent from what you've described that the film is a "multi-angle" film. Try re-doing and select "full movie" (or whatever DVD2AVI's similar nomenclature is) - and then you'll probably have to select which full-length "angle" you want to convert.
