ac3 codec for divX

I downloaded blade II and the video quality is really nice, but there is no sound. gspot tells me that i need the av3 codec, so i downloaded a zip-file containing 8 files (2x .bat, 2x .cmd, 2x .ax and two exe files: divx_311alpha.exe & REGSVR32.EXE).

i ran both executables, but i'm still not able to hear the sound.

pleaze help me!

Install the AC3 codec from a codec pack, such as the Nimo (http://www.divx-digest.com/software/nimo_pack.html) or Tsunami (http://www.divx-digest.com/software/tsunami_pack.html) codec packs. Alternatively, install a DVD player software, such as PowerDVD or WinDVD.
