Over the past few months, I've grown to love BSPlayer, which I primarily use. However, I cannot get DivX video to play (the audio plays fine) in Windows Media Player (same thing happens in WMP 6.4). It used to work, but since I don't use WMP that often, I can't remember when that was. Everything plays fine in BSPlayer, and DivX plays fine in DivX Player. Everything EXCEPT DivX and other MPEG4 such as XviD plays fine in WMP! Even avi files encoded with different non MPEG4 codecs (Indeo, Cinepak, etc.) play fine. I can post a list of all video codecs I have installed if it'll help. I want to get WMP working again.

Specs:
Athlon 1.4GHz
Win2K (SP3)
512MB RAM

If you have only DivX 5.02 installed, try installing DivX 3.11a as well. Use the patched file from Tsunami (more info can be obtained in the sticky UncasMS put), as this prevents DivX 5 from automatically playing 3.11 contents. You might want to check that you have the latest DirectX version installed too.
