AVI to MPEG

I need to convert a couple divx avi's to mpeg, i tried avi2mpeg, but it has an error that doesn't work with newer versions of divx. what other options do i have?

hmm tried that, but i have these avi's they're each about 64 megs, and i need them under 128 in mpeg format.... i can't seem to get them below 200 with tmpgenc

just a plain old avi file would be okay, no divx encoding... i just need it under 128 megs

You can lower the bitrate in TMPGEnc to reduce the file size.
