Dear friends!
I have a lot of progs, but can't decide which one is better and smaller for simple extracting of sound track (as wav) from mpeg2-file.
Now I am using a3dec, but my mpeg2 contains no a3c sound, only simple mp2, so...Or I am wrong?
Thank you for reply.

There are indeed a lot of programs to do so... just to name a few (without any garantee or whatever that they are the best/fastest/cheapest/...)

*LAME can do, using -mp2input (or -mp1input op mp3input, depending on the LAYER, not on the MPEG number* )
* BeSweet can do almost every conversion.

* MP3 for example is MPEG 1 layer 3 (not MPEG3 like most people say), so you'll use -mp3input, not -mp1input.

you can extract the mp2 file with dvd2avi and use winamp diskwriter to convert it to wav... finshed=)
