This is probably a dumb question but the answer would help me a lot..on some programmes [i.e neodvd and windvd] I can't seem to import certain files from other programmes to either play or be copied,I've a load of iso movies on my hdd that were ripped from decrypter but can't seem to import them onto e.g windvd to play em,they don't appear on the menu option[but I can play original discs from my dvd rom ok] Are they in the wrong format or summit??l
Please point in right direction..

without knowing the full info, i will try to help. I assume you ripped the dvds to your hard drive and that they are in the original ifo format. If this is the case, with WinDVD if you click on the screen, select Source-> File you should be able to browse and play the unecrypted dvd files with no problems. Not sure if this is what you are looking for.

Hi,I've ripped em in ISO MODE on decrypter and burned em all on dvd-r.I've also tried one in IFO MODE but windvd will still not play them from my hdd, says"no dvd content"or something.
Any idea what format they need to be in to play, also could someone enlighten me on what the heck ISO and IFO actually mean???
Thnx.

"I've a load of iso movies on my hdd"
If by "iso movies" you mean iso image files, you probably need to use software such as Daemon Tools to mount and view them...
