hi all , my first post ever in this section:eek: the thing is, dvd 2 vcd no prob .dvd 2 dvd-r easy, but this is a new thing to me...DIVEX... u see i have got the new james pond film ex quality but split, ie 2 films
question is ... how do i join the films together and put it on a dvd-r
and play on a home dvd player
can i use tmpge :confused: because i am used to this prog

"how do i join the films together and put it on a dvd-r " If you say that uve used tmpgenc before, than you must know that you dont simply "put" a divx file on a cd-r (or dvd-r in your case). To join the movie, use virtualdub (make sure that both avi files have the same video ratio, although they probably do since its the same movie) and use tmpgenc to convert the file to .mpg format (vcd or svcd). But make sure your standalone dvd is able to play dvd-vcd/svcd's because its not the same thing as a vcd/svcd.
