View Full Version : how can i boost the audio from a divx fil

i have a divx which the audio is very low. i have to put the speakers to almost max. range when i will hear something. so my question is how kan i boost the audio up from a divx file. i know that when you encode a divx file you can set the dynamic range higher but i forgot.
please help me

Load it into VirtualDub.
Set "Video" to "Direct Stream Copying".
Set "Audio" to "Full Processing Mode".
Under the "Audio" tab, select "Compression" - Put a checkmark next to "Show all formats". Select the same format, frequency, and sampling rate (e.g. MPEG3, 44,100Hz, 128Kbps) as the original .AVI.
Under the "Audio" tab, select "Volume" and increase to the desired percentage.
