Frozen image unless I resize the wmp-window

I've installed the XviD-codec and it seams to work properly except that the image is frozen unless I resize the window of the player. I've tried both the windows media player (the older one - 6.4.9) and nPlayer and both have the same problem.

I think this is the same problem that windavatar had (http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14572)

Have you tried playing the movie in BSPlayer, most people said that seemed to fix their XviD viewing problem.
