The movie playsback with xVid codec.... However, there is no audio.... Tried to install AC3 audio decoder, but it still didnt play... This time it didnt play at all - the Windows Player crashed, as well as WinAmp 3....

Here is the information from Virtual Dub:
Sampling Rate: 48000Hz
Channels: 2 (Stereo)
Sample Precision: 0-bit
Compression: Unknown (tag 2000)
Preload Skew: 1536 samples (0.03s)
# of frames: 62756
Min/avg/max/total frame size: 846/1535/1536 (94134K)

What is wrong and what should I do?

this problem should be easy to fix, as i had the same problem with my version of the movie. first off, uninstall all of the codecs that you have on your computer. then do a google.com search for 'nimo codec'. it is a package of a number of different codecs. download and install it, then reinstall the XviD codec.

this worked for me, and i had the same problem it seems, so hopefully it will work for you.

You require the AC3 audio codec which can be installed seperatley or as part of a codec package (such as the TSUNAMI CODEC PACK).
