View Full Version : Synch Problem [for expert, (I think)]

Hi, I'm in trouble with audio/video synch: my problem is, I want to cut off the end titles of a (perfect) DivX movie (low motion+stereo MP3) I did a few week ago, but when I do it with VirtualDub, the synch between elements goes away: In detail, when I load up the new movie, the audio starts before the video. Any ideas? Please don't make me re-rip the DVD, my poor Pentium II 350 had enough!!
I tried to use other player but the problem is still the same.
Thank you for your help.

I just tried with virtualdub 1.3c, 1.4c, 1.4d, it's always the same.
I didn't try whit nandub yet, but I thought it's just an extension for Vritualdub, isn't it?

Try to set some delay times (good rip-programs show u how much you should set delay in the filename...) AND... u should really try Nandub. There r really some bugs fixed, as far as i know.
by the way: a perfect DivX does not have mp3 stereo sound... it has Dolby Digital :-))

1. nandub IS NOT an vd extension
it is based on vd
2. a perfect rip with an ac3 is only usefull when appropriate hardware is being used.
for standard playback system, an mp3 with normalized and amplified sound is much better!

I disagree: I don't have a 5.1 sound system, and my audio board is just a Sound Blaster 64: dolby digital will just generate a bigger file, with no actual sound improvment.
