More power on center channel

I want more power from the center speaker, there is some filter, crack, patch, reg settigs for my sblive 5.1 sound card? I want to hear the voicec better than explosion in divX Movies. Thanx.

If available, under "Audio HQ" try selecting "Environmental Audio" and selecting from amongst the various available Environments...

No offense my friend, should I try Robotics or Concert Hall for my problem? ;) I want to raise the center speaker volume only, Creative have no solution in their poor software for this.

If you are unable to locate an environment that increases the MID-RANGE (vocal), then perhaps you should use a player such as Sasami Player, which includes an equalizer.


(By the way, I don't trivialize the word "friend"...)

Hi Alex,

I'm pretty new to all of this but I might be able to help.

I've been using FlaskMPEG and in the Audio settings you can raise the volume settings for different AC3 channels when you create the DivX .avi file.

You could raise the centre channel to be louder than the other channels.

I don't know if this will fix the dialog louder than explosion problem but it might be worth a go.
