How do i burn 1gb movies to two discs?

i use nero burning rom to burn my svcd's.

The movie that i am trying to burn to disc is over 1gb and i only have 700mb blank disks. Is there any way to make the movie onto two separate 700mb discs?

You can split the file in TMPGEnc (http://www.tmpgenc.net)

File-->MPEG Tools

Under the Merge&Cut tab click on Add and select the file.
Select the file and press edit.

Mark the start of the part with [{] and move the slider to where you want to end the part and mark it with [}]
Press OK and give the part a name in the output field.
Press Run and wait until finished.Repeat to make second part.
