Hi!

I have been using DIVX Total Pack 1.2 for playback of Xvid.

When I tried to load an Xvid clip into Virtual Dub and it reported that the Xvid decompressor could not be found. Is there anyway that I can rectify this?

BTW, I was trying to edit the clip into smaller sizes.

TSUNAMI is a codec pack that contains a collection of various audio/video codecs.

XVID can be downloaded independently from the divx-digest.com/software section or from www.xvid.org

I have to ensure that Xvid is registered under multimedia (Win98 SE) before Virtual Dub can use it rite?

I juz downloaded the Tsunami Pack, can I use the Xvid codec that comes with it?

Thanks! :D

Yes, the xvid codec included in the TSUNAMIC CODEC PACK should be fine. Install only the codec(s) you need from the TSUNAMIC CODEC PACK to avoid any conflicts.
