could be if you have quicktime installed,this is true also for real media,
since it should only send to wmp a frame decoded by quick time,
but i dont know about it,
post here please if you find it.

sorry, i believed that you didnt understand me,
but as tinra is able to convert a rm in avi by using realplayer,
a plugin could also let wmp to play it,
same thing with quicktime

This thread shows up in Google for "mov playback" - so I'll just comment here that there are at least two solutions available currently:
* Quicktime Alternative or QT Lite (http://www.codecguide.com/about_qt.htm)
* MediaLooks QuickTime Plugin (http://www.medialooks.com/products/plugins/quicktime_plugin.html)

mov can be playback with quicktime. I don't know how to playback in wmp. But you can give K-lite codec to have a try. good luck to you!

Solution to file playback - download VLC player
its free, plays almost anything, not many reasons not to use it
