ACM = Audio Compression Manager

What is the audio....could be AC3???

Try to transcode it to WAV first.

When an ACM error occurs, most of the time it means there is a corrupt audio frame(s) somewhere. Did you watch the movie to see if it is indeed corrupt somewhere?

Your sound is VBR-MP3 which TMPGEnc does not like.
Convert it to WAV first.
Use Nandub to do this.

Open the Xvid avi and append part 2 of the movie. (File/Append AVI Segment)
In video set it to Direct Stream Copy
In audio set that to no audio.
Now, file/save avi.......You have the full movie in one avi.

Part 2
Do the same as above but instead go to File/save wav.
This will extract the full sound track to mp3 but renamed with a *.wav extension.....make sure you CHANGE it to *.mp3

Part 3
re-encode this mp3 file to WAV with your favourite sound app.

Part 4
Feed the one *.avi and *.wav file to TMPGEnc and it sound be fine and in synch:)

Try it and see what happens. Keep us posted.
