Best app to burn with?

I just got my Pioneer A05,and have started the backup process of a movie that I own.I burnt the disk,and it plays fine in my DVD-R/W,and in my 10x Pioneer DVD drive,but don't want to play in my set top pioneer DVD player.Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.

I used Nero Express in dvd video files mode to do the burn.

I use DVDDecrypter for most of my burns.
Not sure if you can use it here as it burns just images.

Nero causes compatability problems with some players.
Use Prassi or similar.
I know all the guides recommend Nero but after months of frustration, changing to Prassi solved it for me.
Try it, I know it sounds crazy.
