xvid sound

i am a newbie with my first comp i have no sound on certain xvids eg; james bond, we were soliders i tried downloading ****loads of codecs with no joy can any 1 help-

Probably ac3 audiotrack,but just to be sure load the file in either GSpot or VirtualDub.In Vdub the audiocompression will have Unknown tag(2000) in the file information if ac3.

The codec is available in most codec pack such as Tsunami(Look for a post by UncasMS and d/l the lastest release from his website.)
