Hello,

I am experiencing some problems in making a VCD with Nero 5.5.1. No matter what type of file (avi or mpeg) nor what size file I give Nero 5.5.1, I get a "not enough memory" error.

Here is what I did:
1) I create a new Video CD compilation.
2) I drag over the avi or mpeg files I want to burn.
3) I click on the icon to bring up the Write CD dialog.
4) I click the Write button, bringing up the Encoding Video dialog box.

At this point, results start appearing in the box:
Encoding video
I:\Movies\Movie.avi: Not enough memory

I went to http://www.nero.com to see if they had anything that would rectify the problem. Unfortunately, their "HelpTool System" was not of any help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

goto file -> prefrences -> buffer (tab), and see that the number is (depending on your memory) 1/4 to 1/3 of it. also..how big is the avi file that your trying to burn. (what about burning to an image), and then to the CD? personally, i havnt had the problem (but i have had my fair share of em), and im also using nero 5.0...

hope it helps
