picture freezes, sound keeps on playing

Hi,

I have this certain movie which is full of freezing frames.
Picture freezes, sound keeps on playing.

When I use virtualdub or nandub to cut out the bad frames, the sound of the saved file is out of sync (AC3).

Is there any antifreeze prog for xvid?
Or a player that does not crash playing these movies?

I use Koepi's stable 04.Oct.2002
Koepi's new unstable version doesn't work (movies don't start, black screen)

Try using DivFix.

Great! It worked!
Of course I've used DivFix several times before.
But it never worked.
Seems I chose the wrong options.

I only have to rebuild the index, that's all.
