"ClassFactory cannot supply requested class" that's what I get when i am trying to play some movies (it doesn't happen with all).
Microsoft has no description for that error (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/support/mperr.asp?prd=Windows&spb=MediaPlayer&pver=8.0.0.4477&os=WinNT&over=5.1.2600&olcid=0x409&clcid=0x409&id=80040111).
what is wrong and how can i fix it?
additional info: i have ACE Mega CoDecs Pack installed (with default settings). the .avi file i am trying to play has these properties:
image: width 576px, height 304 px
audio: duration 10 min, bit rate 128 kbps, audio format LAME MP3
video: frame rate 23 fps, data rate 114 kbps, video sample size 24 bit, video compression DIVXMPG4 V3
hope this is enough info to help me
any idea is appreciated, even if you think it is stupid, it might help
