Bsplayer says unknown file format DIV4

I rebuilt index of an uncomplete avi file with Divfix so I would be able to watch it.

But when I open it with BSplayer it says "Unknown file format DIV4". I have a Divx codec v.3.11 alpha, which is suposed to support DIV4 format, right?

What do you think?

try installing the nimo codec pack and get the necesary codecs that you need.

nope DIV4 ist divx4/project majo

divx5 will be able to play these formats or ffdshow

hey ziva- anything to report? Did you try to play after installing the nimo codec pack as suggested by chickeneater or after installing the divx 5 as suggested by UncasMS?
