I had divx pro 5 and xvid working fine on my computer. I then downloaded a film with ac3 audio and was able to get an image but no sound. So i installed nimo codec pack, but that caused me to hear sound without any image turning up. So I deleted the nimo and now i cant watch any ac3 or even my old xvid films(I can only watch divx stuff). I am only able to hear the sound and instead of the video turning up on my screen i get bright colours. I have reinstalled xvid and divx but the problem persisits. What can I do? Thanks very much

go to my page, download TSUNAMIS filtrerpack 397, install it via custom routine, keep all defaults and you should be fine afterwards:

Hey Grand Wazoo- was wondering how you made out? Did you install the Tsunami Filter Pack as suggested by UncasMS and did it fix the playback problem that you were having with movies having ac3 audio? I'm hoping to learn from your experience.

Hey digitaldick

My computer had loads of problems cause i wasnt treating it with care. That is why downloading tsunami filter didnt really help me at first. But I later figured out that my problem was with windows media player, so i installed bsplayer, then I downloaded tsunami filter again, and everything worked fine. So in the end Tsunami filter did fix my problem. Now all i have to do is reinstall windows and do the whole thing again, so everything could work on media player too.
