Xvid Playback Problems (Video too slow)

Hi,
i just re-installed the xvid codec after a fresh installation.
Now every xvid file i lags the video (it plays slower than usual, like in slow motion; the audio plays perfect).

I vaguely remember having had this problem once before and solving it (though i don't remember how, ´douh), so it's not my system speed or anything like that.

Here're the details:
OS: Win2000 Professional
Windows Media Player 6.4

The file is xvid with Lame Mp3 Audio.

i had that problem in the new windows player.
