I got a weird problem: if i play my AC3(5.1)/DivX AVIs
using windows media player everything is fine (perfectly synched
movie, the works) but if I use that same movie in
PowerDivx Next Generation Player...it goes out of synch!.
I got Nimo CODEC Pack installed in my system and just recently made this weird discovery. But it gets worse: if I don't select
PowerDNG Player settings using the Semi-Direct 3D Sound plugin...i don't get any audio at all!. I'm very confused about this.

I'm using:
WMP 7.01
Nimo CODEC Pack AC3 Filters
PowerDivx Next Generation

Can I find out there on the net another movie player besides
PowerDivx Next Generation for playing AC3/DivX AVIs?
Do I need to uninstall my AC3 filters or replace them?

So why don't you simply continue to use Windows Media Player?

Setarip...about your answer "So why don't you simply continue to use Windows Media Player?"

Well...You in fact didn't answer any of my questions.
I don't want to use WMP 7.01 simply because there
are betters movie players out there, and i was asking for suggestions. I have read in this forum that many
people had issues with Nimo CODEC Pack AC3 Filters,
and i was hoping to find a reliable (and better)
AC3 Pack Filter, without compatibilty issues. I'm still
waiting any idea why:
a) PowerDivx Next Generation Player
goes out-of-synch with AC3(5.1)/DivX AVIs ripped using
Nimo CODEC Pack AC3 Filters
b)the only compatible audio plugin is Semi-Direct 3D

Try using BSPlayer or the older WMP 6.4 . . .
