uncompressing an avi

Can some one please help, How do i uncompresse an avi so i can burn it to vcd.

You don't uncompress the avi ...........you convert it

What you need is a program called TMPGEnc.

You load your avi file into this prog ...........select the right template and the program converts your avi into a mpg.

You can use this mpg to burn a vcd (with Nero for instance)
