Hello,

It seems like I am always installing different codecs and then other ones or older videos do not work properly. Is there an application or method that will completely remove all codecs and avi-related files from my PC? Then I can try reinstalling things and hopefully determine where the problem lies. I try removing all of them from the "Multimedia" section of "Control Panel." However, it still seems like there are files remaining. By the way, I am using Win98SE. Thanks in advance for the help.

Yea Try Codec Sniper and Ashampoos Winoptimizer, Winoptimizer can be modified to look for any file extensions you want. but just dont do .dll extensions hehe.
