region free sony ddu1621 and H+

Hello all. I am sorry to bother you but I am hoping someone more experienced may have an answer to my problems.

I am using a sony DDU1621 dvd drive, firmware S1P6 rpc 1 (etna)
and Hollywood Magic + hardware decoder.
I downloaded ZoneSelector 4build11, and it seemed to work.
I was able to play teh copyright protection and selection screen of a region 2 disc my brother brought back from britain. But that's as far as it goes. It won't play further, and simply comes up with either "No disc"
or "program not responding" etc..

I am running a 1.4GHz MAD athlon
512 MB ram
geforce 3
sounblaster Live!
windows xp home edition.

any help, suggestions, etc.. are _Greatly_ apreciated!

Well, I see quite a few people read my post, and I'd like to thank you all for that. I just downloaded ZoneSlector 4build12, and it works!!

latest software versions is probably the first thing I hsould have checked!
