Help on reading .IMG file

I downloaded a .IMG file of a movie someone backed up from DVD. So the file is ~4GB. I guess normally, I need a DVD burner to just burn the image file, but I don't have one :(

So are there any programs out their that will allow me to convert the .img file back to its original form? so I can use WinDVD or something to view it directly from my HD...thx
