i have xp. i tried using bsplayer to play a movie that is xvid codec. when i opened the movie using bs player it said warning: can't create direct draw surface... someone please tell me what i need to do. also, what is the best player to use for both divx and xvid movies? thanks, scott:confused:

go here http://www.doom9.org , then click downloads, then download gordon pack 1.1 and install it all. this will allow u to watch all new divx, xvid, and old movies for sho

Doesn't BSplayer automaticaly switch to rgb after that message?
I've seen this happening on systems with weak SiS video cards...

:confused: rgb? i didn't get the greatest video card but i haven't had problems until now, so i really can't answer that
