Hi

I noticed this strange audio syncronisation problem:
The Playa plays the movies completely in sync
DIVX-Player plays them OUT of sync (about 5 - 8 Seconds)

Shouldn't it play them in sync as well - DIVX-Player is only a Playa-Clone with some more security-features???

Out of sync are as well:
RadLight
POwer DIVx Next Gen.
Windows MediaPlayer (The XP-one)

Can anyone axplain this and try to show a way to correct it?

I am using the newest DIVx-codec, Fraunhofer LayerIII
and DVDx (synchronize audio option checked)

Just thinking a little outloud here:

When you use the 4.12 to play ALL your moviez, it is known that this codec will produce out of sync with (old) alpha 3.11 moviez

So if you answered YES when 4.12 asked if you also wanted the 4.12 to play all moviez then this might be the reason :)

Well....
I only got into DIVX-ing a week ago. So all I have done so far is
install the divx- and mp3-codec and test-encode two DVDs with DVDx.
So I have no OLD divx-movies on my computer, all are encoded on MY computer using the codec I have installed (4.12), so: shouldn't ALL types of players produce the same result - INSYNC playback:confused:

hell o
from my experience in all of the players you can adjust the processing level of the divx codec. if a movie is encoded in a specific processing level the player should be set to the same or else the audio will be off sync. check it out
hoped that i helped.
