I have a reciever with SPD\IF input and he is connected to my computer with Coaxial cable but I can hear only stereo !

Is there a specieal software or codecs should I install?
Is there a guide for that?

Thanks.

could be a matter of the ac3 codec in use and the player (and its options).

which ones are you using??

You might have to decode the audio on your reciever if it will do it.

Also set your card for 5.1 sound or whatever it supports (6.1 7.1)

1.st there is way more than *an ac3* filter and 2.nd use bsplayer or powerdivx or zoomplayer for the playback, as they should handle ac3 streams properly.

You just give me a software to use or codec and that's it !

What about a good explanation about how to configure things in the system and how exactly to use in the soft ?
is there any good and expert forum that's know the answer?

Thanks .
