Im sorry if i sent two threads. Because my explorer goes nuts
first time so im not sure if tha message went through.
I use Win xp and when playing divx or xvid in any player the next things happens:
Video goes faster for about a second and then it sync with audio and goes on. That happens 4-5 times when playing movie.
I changed video card, CPU and motherboard, reinstalled win many times and nothing helps...
I have ATI Radeon 9000 pro, Celeron4 1.7, and some Gigabyte 8ie633 motherboard.
If anyone knows something PLEASE HELPPPP!!!!

A few things to check out:
1. Motherboard (or chipset) driver installed.
2. Latest graphic and sound card drivers installed.
3. DMA is enabled (by default it should be).
4. Reduce Post-processing, if your CPU usage peaks repeatedly at 100% during playback.
As a suggestion, you might want to give FFDShow a try. It is an alternative decoder, capable of playing DivX and XviD contents, while being resource-light and highly configurable.

All seems more thah OK. Maybe movie is BAD.
My configuration: Celeron - 600 MHz, 128 MB, FM801 5.1 audio, Voodoo3 3000 TV out ... HW=1999
DirectX 9, WindowsXP, PowerDVD player full version ... SW=2003.
Play movies DivX, XviD, 3ivX - w/o any problems.

NIKI what kind of suggestion was that?
@Nenad Cocic I would make sure you had no background processes running (that aren't needed for the system to run at least)
Try FFDShow
also try BSPlayer

@SKD_Tech Give the chap a break ;)
@Nenad Cocic
Did you create these files yourself?
My first hunch would be video drivers (considering the format/installs)
Oh, are your playing these directly off harddrive or cdrom/dvd drive?

It is not video card, iu changed two.The same is with MB+CPU.
This is happening only in Win XP. Nothing is working in background. I tried dozens of diferent codecs, players, ffdshow doesnt help. I tried changing divx configuration and it is always the same. Frustrating thing is that i have no idea why is that happening and when it could happen. Sometimes i watvh whole movie peacefully and sometimes its going on every few minutes.
Have someone have the problem of making other people computers to work but cant get yours.. It is happening to me since i had my first PC. :((((((((
