Ok my rip is 770 mb. I used Dr. Divx to make it and it never asked me what size I wanted the output file. So what would be the best way to cut down about 60 mb because I know you can overburn with nero?

You can cut away the credits, though I doubt it can ever yield a saving as large as 60MB. Anyway, this is how you can go about the task:
1. Open file in Virtual/nandub
2. Set both Video and Audio tabs to Direct Stream Copy
3. Use the Mark In/Out buttons to specify the start and end of the new file respectively. The end will be the scene just before the end credits appear
4. Go to File -> Save as AVI and give a name to the new file
A better way would be to reencode it and using a lower bitrate so that the final AVI output will easily fit on a 700MB CD.

That depends on your movie play length.
Let's suppose you were using a bitrate of 1000 for the first rip (which landed you with a 770MB file). Simply decrease that bitrate accordingly so that you can get a projected file size of around 700MB. A bitrate calculator will aid you in this.

but.. em, if you can cut it down to 700 it will be better way too.
