XviD Weird colors

I have this XviD film but at various times weird colors appear, usualy on the edges of the things in the film. Bright colors like red blue and green. i have tried all XviD codecs i could find and still no joy, is this the rip? or my computer?

Welcome to forum,

Install FFDShow (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/ffdshow/ffdshow-20030523.exe?download) and enable XviD during install.
See if this helps.
