windvd recorder

I need some help with this program.
I just purchased WinDvd Recorder from the net and activated it.
When I open the program and go to click on the options tab to open I cannot find the recording tab in that list that they have, so I cannot choose what I want to save the movie as or what I want to write it too. eg: DVD, VCD, SVCD etc
Please if anyone can can tell me how to get the recording tab to be seen in the options box would be great.

Are you sure you used the correct key. There is a WinDVD platium that can be activated with the same software download that does not have recording capabilities.
