I'm new to DivX and need some help in playing back some Harry Potter & LOTR avi files I have downloaded.
I have installing and using both the DivX 3.1 alpha and 4.12 codec's, but I still cant get the avi files to play.
I am trying to play them on Windows Media Player 7 and get the error message "No combination of filters could be found to render the stream"
I have also tried to play them using Micro DVD, but get the error message "Not a valid A/V file".
What am I doing wrong? Its really starting to bug me as I have gone through all the various guides and cant understand why it wont work!
