:smashead: Been having a :evilaugh: devil of a time trying to get the LF-D521U to perform with the DVDPro 1x-4x DVD-Rs using Nero 5.5.10.28. My Player is Power DVD XP 4.0.
Present problem: The LF-D521U plays DVDs well. it allows me to copy to Hard Drive & manipulate inside of Nero. Except, I cannot write/burn to the DVDPro 1x-4x DVD-Rs that I place in the unit.
Was able to burn w/DVDXCopy a while ago, but finished burn played back with the little digital blocks popping up and jumping from area to area.
Now when I try to burn Nero says: "Please insert an empty medium to write to". "Medium required for the compilation:DVD-R/RW,DVD-RAM". "Medium type in the recorder: (Empty)".
The DVD-R is already in the burner. I open the door & close it again, but it makes no difference. the message stays. When I click the Cancel button or X out, Nero returns the message: "Aborted by user".
Anyone ever experience such and if so, will you give me a solution?:(
