How to duplicate a DVD

Hi Folks:
I have a DVD burner on my PC and I'd like to make a backup copy of some dvd-videos: how can I do that???
I have SmartRipper to extrat the content from the disk, but: how do I put it back on a DVD-R???

do you want to play it on your computer or on your set top?
if your computer just burn it right back and software dvd player will be able to play it for the set top it becomes a whole lot more complicated.
