what is the best internal dvd to buy?
and what is the difference between dvd-r and dvd ram.
what will playback in a standalone dvd?

Iv'e already read and played around with doom9's way and it seems to work pretty well.

Just got to get right stuff.
also looking for nero version that has dvd burning. I think it's
6.5???? something. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
Thanks

You want to go with dvd-r for playback on a standalone dvd player (dvd-rw will work also). The Pioneer DV-A03 is a nice unit and now that you can buy them for under $500 dollars they are one of the best options. For the other question, Nero 5.5 will support dvd recording but if you get the DV-A03 it will come with burning software also.

but you know what always happens software that comes with the device sucks you should definatly buy or download my dvd it allows you to create your own dvds from MPEG video files you may have on your pc (HINT HINT:)) so you should DEFINATLY try that out dont even think twice
