I am using DVDit PE to create a DVD-R from an .m2v and .ac3 file (pulled with SmartRipper then rempeg2 to reduce size of video). DVDit complains that it can only handle two channel stereo (and there are more than two channels in the audio stream). How do I keep all of the channels? I was under the impression that DVDit PE was a good tool for creating DVD backups - I don't want to loose the Dolby Digital though. Much thanks..

I think DVDit 2.5 PE Supports Dolby Digital
Check the Sonic Solutions website for details.

DVDit PE 2.1 2.3 and 2.5 all support dolby digital 2.0 only. If you need software that supports 5.1 DD you may want to look into DVD Junior. Check out BernClare Multimedia Inc {on-line). Good Luck!
