I am trying to choose between Adobe encore, and Sonic DVDit PE for a budding videographer/indie filmmaker. Already have Adobe premiere, photoshop and after effects but the learning curve of encore sounds a bit steep and from what I have read the program seems buggy- any suggestions?

What's your budget? I was looking at Ulead Video Studio 10 Plus. I think it can be had for about $100. I was also considering Sony Vegas. The basic pkg can be had for $70 the Platinum for $100 and the Deluxe for $500 (too rich for me).

I dont know anything about the Adobe Encore. What is it that got you interested in that package?
