ok i encoded a piece of video to .ogm, i figured id give ogg vorbis another try.

ok first off video was encoded great, the audio file was encoded great. but after DVX(The vitrualDub protion) muxed them together, the audio turned to mono. I double checked the encoded .ogg audio file, and its in stereo. I tried both WMP and BSP and i get mono sound in both, i also checked and made the the pan L/R in both players was centered. I also muxed them together manually, same result.

any thoughts anyone?

i have heard this before

the solution was RE-installing the ogg directshow driver as it turned out to be a playback problem, caused by newly installed direct-x9 in that case.

search google.com for oggds0995.exe and install it and then report back, pls.

ok had to reinstall OggDS a couple times but now it finally works.

Thanx fellas.

In case anyone has this problem, the one that installed witht he DVX syspack was the one that caused the problem. So i uninstalled this one, downloaded the standalone OggDS0995, then reinstalled DVX and the syspack, now everything works chipper.
