divx player is crap !!

hey,
i have a p4 with 1.7ghz and 256 mb ram and ati radeon card with 64 mb memory and 60 gb hdd !!i encode movies with dr. divx!! they run fine on zoom player or bs player or radlight 4, but the official divx player 2.5 is just plain crap!! it eats 2 much resources and is too slow!! even if i move the cursor towards it's controls, it seems to hang and gets slowed down !!i tried a solution on official forums at www.divx.com but it didn't help !! what about u guys ??which divx player do u think is the best ??even windows media player 9 is better than divx player 2.5 !!

i use ActiveMovie and Windows Media Player 9 on winXP Pro SP1

i almost always use ActiveMovie, it's the best player (the fastest to load, no useless playlist/skin/...) you can see what codec are in use and it's the only player that you can select starting and ending frames

I use WMP 9. I also use Videolan for emergency purposes, I haven't found ne thing yet that videolan won't play, except my guitar.
