Hi SaaaaM,
I've used Divx 5.0, 5.1 and 5.1.1 beta. From what I can see 5.1.1 beta seems to be a little faster. myself i can't see ne difference in quality as long as the settings are the same. I've been playing around with xvid ( Koepi's build ) which is mpeg4 also. Divx seems to be a little smoother and xvid seems to be a little sharper in the picture. You might want to cut out app. 2 minutes of your video and do some tests on the short clip to see which you like best. Hope this helps.

5.02 and 5.05 worked fine in terms of quality and speed

5.1.1 is a little faster than 5.1 still i wasnt able to spot significant improvements over 5.05 despite running 5.1.1 in SLOWEST mode (for pass 2)

looks like wasting time from my point of view

Thanks for all the advise guys you have been very helpfull just to make sure I have done loads of test with different codecs and your were right (never doubted you;)) The 5.xx is almost the same in quality and speed but I did find 5.1.1 quite a bit faster and I am looking forward for its full release. I also tried Xvid hmmm personally I didnt like it, the video comes out to sharp if you know what i mean...Today I am going to try out Xing and DVX but so far I am very pleased with GK with 5.1.1 beta.

Thanks
