Jittery Playback

Hi there. I have a problem with some XviD encoded videos. Some play fine and some jitter (you know, two frames forward, one back, two forward, one back, etc.). I'm really getting annoyed with this, because this makes movies unwatchable and I don't even know what the problem is. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

What decoder are you using to decode the XviD-compressed files?
Have you used FFDShow instead (which works perfect with DivX and XviD files)?
