Hope you can help me. When i play a downloaded film, if its xvid it always starts with a green screen then the picture starts goig funny. Its like its jumping out of the screen into the next frame.

ffdshow should solve your problems

search this forum or google and go for the ALPHA version of may 2003

I downloaded this before posting as it seemed to be the answer to most problems. however i'm not sure what to do with it now i've got it.

Install and configure FFDShow to handle XviD (and DivX, if you wish) contents.

If the green screen problem does not go away, reinstall your video card driver.
