I have the Encore Dxr2 and want to use it for DivX

I have the Dxr2 card on Windows XP, it works fine when playing
DVDs and mpegs, however it is impossible to playback DIVX with the original software from Creative.

I have tried HHPLUS and DivxPlus but they dont work and the Realmagic Hollywood pls drivers wont install.

Does anyone have som other software that can use this card?

When it playsback DVD on my TV the picture and sound is PERFECT !!!

The DXR2 card wont playback DivX files, as it is strictly MPEG decoder card (DVD and MPEG videos).

DivX is AVI

Even with a wrapper of some sort chances a slim to none.


EDIT: And OH MY GOD! that card still works for you? i had one of those setups from creative back when they were like $300, the thing **** the bed after 2 months.

maybe its mpg card but you can play divx
under Linux on DXR2 with MPLAYER
