Subtitle doesn't show

Hi all! Suddenly i´ve got the strangest problem. When I play Xvid movies the subtitles refuse to show on the screen. In DivX they work fine. I always could see the subtitles in Xvid before, but not now. What could be wrong? It's not fun to reinstall XP just to fix this. Anybody got an idea?

I just figured it out myself, if anybody wonder about the solution. I've got a pretty new machine, XP1800+, GF4 MX440 card and so on. For some reason my computer doesn't like DirectVobSub 2.23, the newest version. I uninstalled that one and installed the old 2.12 version, and now the subtext shows perfectly. Very strange.

But I'm happy :D
